In fourth grade, I hope to prepare my students to be able to live and prosper in the community.

I will accomplish this by helping the children to follow the Ten Commandments given to us by God, our Father.

During this year, I will work on preparing the students to organize their thoughts, developing reading comprehension and writing their ideas in sentences and stories. This will help them to do well in the Language Arts, Math and Science State Tests.

As I go through Social Studies, they will see how New York played an important part in our country becoming a free nation. Many New Yorkers helped to write the United States Constitution.

In conclusion, the children in my class will be able to practice their faith by showing caring, kindness and love to everyone. They will become responsible young people in their community.
